Welcome to the Corporate Responsibility home page.

Scottish and Southern Energy’s core purpose is to provide the energy people need in a reliable and sustainable way. From that flows our ability to deliver to our shareholders sustained real dividend growth. That is achievable only if we demonstrate responsible practice in all of our activities. For this reason, there is no separate corporate responsibility function within SSE;
it is not an add-on, and should not be treated as such. Every one of us who is employed by SSE must demonstrate and deliver responsible business practice in whatever we do.

In June 2006, we published our first Corporate Responsibility Report incorporating information published previously in the Sustainability Report, the Environment Report and the Energy Efficiency Report. To view any of these reports please go to the Reports section of Our Performance.
