Clyde Extension Wind Farm
SSE Renewables, formerly known as Airtricity, is in the early stages of working on a proposal for an extension to the consented Clyde Wind Farm. The proposed extension site is located in the Upper Clyde Valley to the north-east of the consented Clyde Wind Farm site, surrounding Camps Reservoir. The initial layout for the development proposes a total of 67 wind turbines with a nominal site generating capacity of 201MW.
Many thanks to those of you who were able to attend our Public Exhibitions at Tweedsmuir Village Hall, Abington Hotel and Broughton Village Hall week commencing 7th June. The aim of these exhibitions was to provide local communities with the opportunity to learn more about the proposal, ask any questions and to feed into the project at an early stage of development. Display boards and leaflets from the exhibition are attached for reference.
If you did not manage to come in and meet with the team but would like more information about the exhibitions or indeed the proposal then please get in touch with Pauline Allison using the contact details noted below.
