Clyde wind farm
Clyde, currently Europe’s biggest single consented wind farm, is located between Biggar and Moffat in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The site is divided by the M74 running between Abington, Elvanfoot and Crawford.

The wind farm represents an investment of £500m, with over £200m of contracts awarded to Scottish based businesses. More than 200 construction jobs are due to be created over the lifetime of the project with 30 jobs to operate and maintain the site.

Site construction is expected to take approximately three years. Once completed, Clyde will generate enough renewable electricity to power around 279,000 homes.
