- Gothia Vind Joint Venture16/04/2008 09:21:35Airtricity, the renewable energy development division of Scottish and Southern Energy plc ('SSE'), has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with Gothia Vind which is expected to lead to the development of new wind farms in western Sweden. Based near Gothenburg, Gothia Vind is a specialist wind energy developer.
- SSE support for fuel poor customers11/04/2008 00:05:00Scottish and Southern Energy plc (“SSE”) has agreed with the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform to provide additional support for vulnerable electricity and gas customers in the period to March 2011. The UK government has stated that given the substantial commitment that an agreement of this kind represents, it will not expect companies to do more over the period 2008-11 on social assistance.
